Whispering Iceland

Endlich mal wieder ein neues schöne Video (in 4k) von Island/Iceland.

It’s something about timelapse photography, it brings to life the dynamic forces of nature.

Iceland is said to be the Mekas landscape for photographers. It is considered as the country of fascinating contrasts. Broadly known as „The Land of Fire and Ice“, it is home to both a portion of the biggest ice sheets in Europe, and probably the most active volcanoes on the planet.

Iceland is the place where there is light and dimness, where long summer days with almost 24-hours of daylight are counterbalanced by short winter days.
Icelandic scenenery still remains for all intents and purposes untouched by human progress.

Places: Vik • Reykjavik • Grotta Lighthouse • Reykjanesta • Sólheimasandur Plane Crash • Dyrholaey • Black Sand Beach • Glacier Lagoon • Vesturhorn Mountain • Godafoss Waterfall • Lake Myvatn • Kirkjufellsfoss Waterfall • Arnartapi • Malariff Lighthouse

An einigen Orten war ich auch schon gewesen. Einfach toll!

Gotham City SF // A Timelapse Film

Der Timelapse Film „Gotham City SF“ von Toby Harriman ist wirklich gut geworden. Timelapse in BW/SW hatte ich auch noch nicht gesehen. Auf so eine Idee muss man erstmal kommen:

This idea came from the aether; it emerged over time. Several years ago (2012) while exploring my passion for black and white photography I found myself wandering into a look I call ‘Gotham’.
I have a passion for timelapse as well, so it wasn’t long before the two processes started to merge in my mind, and the concept for Gotham City SF was born! Over the intervening years I have collected and edited this footage while juggling my freelance career and time working at Lytro (a new camera technology).
This film means a lot to me. It is one of the biggest personal projects I’ve ever worked on.

GoPro: The Streets of Japan in 4K

Bin gerade mal wieder etwas geflasht von dem 4k GoPro Video. Ich muss auch mal nach Japan. 4k GoPro brauch ich dann natürlich auch.

As the sun goes down, Tokyo transforms to a wild and exotic playground for those who like to pour on the speed. As a method of expression, the custom vehicle scene thrives in Japan. You’ll meet some truly unique characters and get to ride along in some of the most exotic vehicles you’ve ever seen. Lamborghinis, Hayabusas, RWB Porsches, and some Kaido Racers make up a feast for the eyes on the streets of Tokyo at night.
